{"id":1600,"date":"2013-08-02T20:54:53","date_gmt":"2013-08-02T19:54:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fortyfivehours.co.uk\/?p=1600"},"modified":"2013-08-02T21:19:45","modified_gmt":"2013-08-02T20:19:45","slug":"navigation-exam-passed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.fortyfivehours.co.uk\/?p=1600","title":{"rendered":"Navigation Exam : Passed"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_1334\" style=\"width: 198px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fortyfivehours.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/ppl3.png\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1334\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1334 \" alt=\"Navigation  - PPL3\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fortyfivehours.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/ppl3.png\" width=\"188\" height=\"260\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1334\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Navigation &#8211; PPL3<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Having done my four dual navigation lessons, only 2 land away lessons remained before my first solo navigation.\u00a0 The catch being, if you&#8217;ve not passed the Navigation exam, you can&#8217;t go on your first solo nav.\u00a0 So time was becoming of the essence.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Put a date in the aero club diary ~2.5 weeks away &#8211; you can read the books, but you revise better once there&#8217;s a deadline.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Both practice papers I did came out as 84% and there was some very questionable flight computer results in the answers of the book <em>(but that will always be the flaw of such mechanical machines)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Passed :\u00a0 84%<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Not my best score and I think the margins of error on mechanical things may have got me on one question for sure, but that doesn&#8217;t matter now.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Yay!!!
